Chryssa Kappatou is a Research Associate in the Department of Computing. She holds a Diploma Degree on Chemical Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (2015) and a PhD from RWTH Aachen University (2020).
Her research interests include numerical optimisation methods and their applications in process systems engineering. Currently, Chryssa focuses on developing theory and algorithms for optimisation and control of bioprocesses.
