Aras Selvi is doing a Ph.D. in Operations Research supervised by Professor Wolfram Wiesemann. He holds a BSc degree from Ozyegin University (Turkey) in Industrial Engineering, and an MRes degree from Tilburg University (the Netherlands) in Operations Research. His research interests include robust optimisation, non-convex optimisation, and theoretical computer science. Aras is in the teaching team of optimization and machine learning related modules. He is also an academic mentor on the Imperial’s Data Spark programme where his past projects used data analytics to improve operational efficiencies and commercial performance for a global energy company.
